Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Columbus, OH is hiring a local Commercial Truck Driver Trainee. This is an active, full-time role where you will earn a full wage while completing behind-the-wheel CDL-A training alongside experienced drivers.

You will deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals and universities, learning specialized route delivery while pursuing licensure and growth opportunities with GFS.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• CDL A Permit required.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Registered through the DOT Clearinghouse with electronic consent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities.
• Learn specialized route delivery while completing licensure.
• Earn a full wage during CDL-A training alongside experienced drivers.

Gordon Food Service is hiring a local Commercial Truck Driver Trainee. This is an active, full-time employee position where you will earn a full wage while completing behind-the-wheel CDL-A training alongside experienced drivers. You will deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities, learning specialized route delivery while completing your licensure.

Schedule : Monday - Friday, Start time 5 am until the route is finished

Pay : $21.00/ hour

• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check

• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
