Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a CDL A Driver in New York. You will deliver products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or GVW over 26,000 pounds, follow DOT regulations, and keep manifests and paperwork accurate while prioritizing safety.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with at least 1 year driving experience.
• Follows DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Hazmat certification preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck with a GVW over 26,000 pounds.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a Class A CDL license with a minimum of one year of experience.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) certification
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations
• Forklift certification
• Spanish language proficiency

Salary

For New York job seekers: Pay Range $24.40-$37.00 Hourly.
