Job summary

White Cap is hiring a CDL A Driver in California. You will coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites, may operate a truck-mounted forklift, and follow DOT regulations with a strong emphasis on safety.

The role requires a Class A CDL with at least one year of experience. Hazmat certification, forklift certification, and Spanish language skills are preferred. Great benefits and a strong safety culture are offered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck with GVW over 26,000 pounds.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Ensures manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Performs other duties as needed.

A CDL A Driver at White Cap...

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck with a GVW over 26,000 pounds.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a Class A CDL license with a minimum of one year of experience.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) certification
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification
• Spanish language proficiency
