Job summary

White Cap is seeking a CDL A Driver in New York to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck. You may use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments and must follow DOT regulations with a strong emphasis on safety.

Candidates should have a Class A CDL with at least one year of experience; Hazmat and forklift certifications are preferred, and Spanish proficiency is a plus. This on-site role offers attractive shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer jobsites using tractor-trailer or straight truck (>26,000 lb GVW).
• Possibly unload shipments with forklift on site.
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain safety-focused operations.
• Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Performs other duties as needed.

A_ CDL A Driver _at White Cap…

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck with a GVW over 26,000 pounds.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a Class A CDL license with a minimum of one year of experience.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) certification
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification
• Spanish language proficiency
