Highway Transport seeks a Recruiting Manager to lead talent acquisition for drivers and general roles in Knoxville, TN, reporting to HR leadership. You will manage a team of recruiters and coordinators, driving full-cycle recruiting operations, employer branding, and data-driven performance improvements.

The role focuses on building pipelines, partnering with operations, and delivering a consistent candidate experience across locations while aligning with safety and compliance policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3–5+ years of talent acquisition experience with leadership experience preferred.
• Proven ability to execute recruiting plans and meet hiring goals.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and operations leaders.
• Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills; proficient in ATS and sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment process for drivers and non-drivers through onboarding.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to implement recruitment strategy.
• Partner with local/region leaders to forecast staffing needs.
• Maintain talent pipelines and ensure a strong candidate experience.
• Use recruitment data to drive performance and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with employment regulations.
