Job summary

Eitas in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Driver Supervisor to lead a team of drivers, oversee performance, and ensure safe, on-time service across Jackson County. The role reports to DOT management and requires CDL, 3-5 years driving, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Starting pay is $27.62 per hour with room to grow based on experience. Benefits include health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance, plus PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL and DOT medical certification.
• 3–5 years of passenger vehicle driving experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory/management experience.
• Good driving record and knowledge of the Kansas City metro area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the performance of a team of Drivers, providing direction, performance counseling, recognition, and discipline as appropriate. Ride along with assigned Drivers periodically, as needed.
• Coordinate the scheduling of assigned Driver team to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely coverage of assigned routes.
• Randomly review bus video footage and computer data of assigned Driver team regarding service quality and safety. Discuss observations with Driver team as needed.
• Evaluate Driver team on an ongoing basis and prepare written evaluations in a timely fashion.
• Assist DOT Management in reinforcing established safety practices and compliance with company policies. Assist in developing and implementing service procedures and policies.
