CRST The Transportation Solution, Inc. is hiring a Driver Services Coordinator onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA to support drivers with safety-related incidents and hours-of-service investigations. You will gather details, calm drivers, and coordinate with VRT and other teams.

You will manage incident reports, communicate action items, and assist the Driver Service Center front desk. A strong phone manner and meticulous record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk duties at Driver Service Center.
• Validate and process invoices from hotels/taxi services.

How You'll Work

• Location: Onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA (201 1st St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401)
• Schedule: Thursday - Saturday and e/o Wednesday (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Training: Two weeks Monday-Friday from 9am to 6pm
• Compensation: This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the fixed rate the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position: $17.50 per hour. This rate is non‑negotiable and applies uniformly to all candidates selected for this role.

Job Summary

As a Driver Services Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to respond to accident calls with urgency and professionalism. You will gather all essential details while helping drivers remain calm during stressful situations.
In addition, you will manage roadside inspection calls and relay relevant details to the VRT department for further action. When not assisting drivers by phone, you will conduct investigations into hours‑of‑service violations and provide support to drivers throughout their training sessions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide safety support to employees and independent contractors.
• Take first reports of incidents by phone and record information into incident tracking software. Obtain and file copies of police reports, photos, and other incident‑related documents.
• Coordinate incident responses with other departments and outside agencies, from on‑scene claims adjusters to emergency towing services, and HAZMAT Response Teams.
• Communicate with drivers and independent contractors to obtain detailed information concerning incidents and provide action items according to company protocol.
• Generate end‑of‑shift reports and distribute them.
• Perform all front desk duties at the Driver Service Center.
• Validate and process invoices received from various hotels/taxi services.

Job Requirements

• Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
