Qualifications

• Two years of experience in legal or law enforcement work, or work involving the interpretation and application of motor vehicle regulations.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Administer Special Point Exams and follow all examination procedures and protocols.
• Communicate with drivers about violations, sanctions, and ways to improve driving behavior.
• Conduct departmental hearings and probationary license reviews and determine appropriate actions.
• Perform accurate data entry of hearing and exam results and issue driver license products when required.
• Teach Driver Improvement School courses in person and virtually, including reviewing materials and administering final exams.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the Vehicle Code, Title 75, as it relates to driver licensing violations and penalties, as well as the PA Point System.
