Job summary

Legacy Career Solutions is seeking a Safety & Compliance Analyst to join our safety and operations team at our Cerritos, CA office. The role focuses on data-driven safety reporting, DOT/OSHA/CSA compliance, and fleet safety metrics to drive actionable improvements.

You will maintain reporting systems (Samsara, AirTable), create Excel dashboards, and collaborate with Safety and Operations to enhance processes. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in safety analytics and bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in safety administration, fleet safety, DOT compliance, or related analytics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including reporting and large data set handling.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and/or CSA compliance strongly preferred.
• Experience with Samsara, AirTable, telematics, fleet management or similar systems is highly desirable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Associate's degree in Business, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain safety and compliance reporting systems (Samsara, AirTable, similar platforms).
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc safety reports for management.
• Track and report DOT, OSHA, CSA, fleet, driver, and internal safety metrics.
• Build and maintain Excel reports and dashboards for incidents, driver behavior, trends, and safety performance.
• Review and audit safety data for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify trends, recurring issues, and risk areas from safety data.
• Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
• Maintain organized safety files, reporting logs, and supporting documentation.
• Partner with Safety and Operations to improve reporting processes and safety performance.
• Support Safety Manager with special projects and department initiatives.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Safety & Compliance Analyst to support a fast-paced safety and operations team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with safety data, fleet compliance, reporting, Excel dashboards, and operational metrics. You will help maintain safety reporting systems, monitor DOT and OSHA compliance, analyze trends, prepare reports for leadership, and ensure safety documentation is accurate and audit-ready.

What We're Looking For

• ** 3–5 years of experience** in safety administration, fleet safety, DOT compliance, compliance reporting, transportation operations, or operational analytics.
• ** Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required** , including experience creating reports, analyzing data, and working with large data sets.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and/or CSA compliance strongly preferred.
• Experience with Samsara, AirTable, telematics, fleet management, or similar compliance/reporting systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices.
• Ability to manage multiple reports, deadlines, and priorities.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• ** Bilingual English/Spanish required.**
• Associate's degree in Business, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
