National Retail Systems, Inc. seeks a Driver Recruiter to partner with hiring managers across the east and west coasts, building recruiting strategies to attract qualified drivers and owner-operators for our logistics network.

You will source, screen, schedule interviews, manage background checks, and ensure compliance with employment laws while maintaining a positive onboarding experience. Travel up to 10% and experience with TenStreet is a plus; fluent English required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years recruiting and hiring experience preferred.
  • Logistics industry knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to write well in English required. Spanish a plus, but not required.
  • TenStreet API knowledge preferred, not required.
  • Works proactively and independently, with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Ability to travel at least ten (10) percent of scheduled time.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to develop detailed and accurate job postings and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Retrieves applications daily from the TenStreet Dashboard (on-line application tool).
  • Uses the TenStreet API to screen, interview, and select qualified applicants.
  • Schedules interviews, road and drug tests, and paperwork collection with the hiring manager, as needed.
  • Collects interview feedback, and communicates status with applicants.
  • Verifies employment eligibility, gathers necessary paperwork, and performs reference and background checks.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers in further developing a positive on-boarding process and experience for new hires.
  • Attends and hosts hiring fairs where needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Overview

The Driver Recruiter is responsible for working with hiring managers to understand our driver needs, both company and owner operator, and develop recruiting strategies to attract qualified, capable talent to our organization. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and presenting non-exempt driver and owner operator candidates for our open positions in the east and west coast.
