Job summary

Schneider in Fontana, CA is seeking a Driver Manager to ensure successful execution of customer freight delivery through effective driver management, acting as the link between the business, our drivers and customers.

Responsibilities include safety-conscious decision making, balancing customer and driver needs, coaching drivers, managing payroll and home time, and collaborating with teams to improve retention and drive the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Able to work collaboratively with a variety of teams, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Make safety-conscious decisions that ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Balance the needs of our customers, drivers and the business.
