Primoris Services Corporation seeks a reliable CDL A driver to transport materials, equipment, and personnel for PEPCO projects, adhering to DOT regulations and company safety standards.

You will operate trucks and trailers, load/unload materials, perform inspections, and maintain logs. The role requires strong communication with dispatchers and crews and a solid commitment to on-time deliveries in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of DOT hours of service and vehicle inspection requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, safely.
• Transport poles, wire, transformers, and tools to/from job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; document defects.
• Load and secure loads to prevent shifting or damage.
• Maintain accurate logs for mileage, fuel, and hours of service.
• Communicate schedules, routes, and deliveries with supervisors and crew.

Job Overview:Job Summary**Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, equipment, and personnel for PEPCO projects, adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety standards.Job Responsibilities*** Operate a variety of vehicles, including trucks with trailers, dump trucks, and other specialized equipment, in a safe and responsible manner.* Transport materials, such as poles, wire, transformers, and tools, to and from job sites.* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any defects or maintenance needs.* Load and unload materials and equipment, securing loads properly to prevent shifting or damage.* Maintain accurate daily logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and hours of service.* Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and crew members regarding schedules, routes, and deliveries.* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as DOT regulations.* Perform minor maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.* Assist with other duties on job sites as needed, such as flagging or assisting with material handling.Job Qualifications*** Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.* Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy commercial vehicles.* Experience with PEPCO or utility-related transportation preferred.* Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.* Knowledge of DOT regulations, including hours of service and vehicle inspection requirements.* Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.Company Overview:R.B.
