Job summary

Tender Care is seeking a Driver – Pediatric Medical Transportation in Lake Park, FL. You will safely transport pediatric patients to and from the PPEC center, assist with loading wheelchairs and medical equipment, and follow routes while communicating with our staff.

We offer split shifts Monday–Saturday, no nights or Sundays, and a supportive team environment with benefits including PTO, 401(k) matching, EAP, and supplemental life options.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted driver license.
• Clean MVR of last 5 years.
• AHA CPR + First Aid certification prior to start.
• Level 2 Background Screening clearance.
• Previous professional driving experience (medical transport, school bus, childcare transport).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport pediatric patients to and from the PPEC center.
• Assist with loading/unloading of wheelchairs and medical equipment.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules with clear staff communication.
• Perform basic vehicle safety checks and keep vehicle clean.
• Provide a calm, friendly, and reassuring presence for children and caregivers.
• Maintain consistent routes (no late nights or rideshare chaos).
• Split Shifts Monday–Saturday between 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
• No nights. No Sundays.

What You Need

• Active & Unrestricted Driver License

• Previous experience driving professionally (medical transport, school bus, childcare transport, etc.)
• Clear & Active DOT Physical
• AHA CPR + First Aid certification prior to start
