Job summary

Loews Chicago O'Hare is seeking a courteous Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for guests and team members using hotel vehicles. You will assist with luggage, maintain vehicle readiness, and ensure timely airport transfers and local rides.

Applicants should have a valid license with a clean record, strong knowledge of the local area, and excellent communication skills to serve guests with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a driver in hospitality or transportation preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; CDL or passenger endorsement may be required for certain vehicles.
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to operate GPS and basic Office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous transportation for guests and team members using hotel vehicles.
• Assist guests with luggage handling and loading/unloading; offer umbrellas or assistance during inclement weather.
• Maintain knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and attractions; provide recommendations when asked.
• Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs for airport transfers, events, and local destinations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; report maintenance needs promptly.
• Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and stocked with amenities (e.g., water, maps).
• Follow all traffic laws and hotel safety protocols; maintain valid driver's license and certifications.
• Greet guests warmly; confirm destinations and special requests.
• Communicate delays or changes promptly and professionally.
