Job summary

Summit School Services is seeking a qualified supervisor to oversee daily driver and monitor activities, ensuring safe bus operations and adherence to company policies. You will guide staff through issues, support recruitment, and promote a positive, compliant work environment.

The role emphasizes coaching, mentoring, and timely reporting, with a focus on reliability and customer service excellence across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ work experience required, with 3 years in ground transportation preferred; may be waived with 1 year supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of service promise, policies, procedures to manage drivers/monitors across locations.
• Proven supervisory expertise and ability to coach and mentor employees.
• Strong written and verbal communication; interpersonal skills to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of drivers and monitors to ensure safe bus operations and policy compliance.
• Provides guidance to drivers on issues such as customer complaints and safety concerns; recommends corrective actions.
• Supports Driver Recruitment in hiring by organizing interviews and facilitating facilities.
• Fosters a positive work environment through coaching, mentoring and training.
• Collects and audits time sheets; monitors on-time performance; prepares reports.
