Job summary

Groendyke Transport, Inc. seeks a Driver Manager to support terminal operations by managing and developing drivers, promoting safe and compliant operations, and helping maintain strong service performance across the fleet.

This role requires strong communication, sound judgment, and relationship-building while holding drivers to company standards. You will train, coach, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure DOT, OSHA compliance and timely service.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to coach and manage drivers effectively.
• Knowledge of DOT and federal regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and counsel drivers on safety and hours of service.
• Perform periodic driver reviews using company tools.
• Monitor and manage driver productivity.
• Maintain proactive communication with dispatch centers.
• Manage on-time service performance of the terminal fleet.
• Assist onboarding and training of new employees.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
