Job summary

MTM Transit in Sebring, FL is seeking a Full Time, Non-CDL Driver to join our team. Training classes start regularly at our Sebring office, with three weeks of paid training before you take a company vehicle home and operate in the Okeechobee area.

This park-out role pays $15.00 per hour and includes benefits (medical, dental, vision), paid training and overtime, holidays and PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License or ability to obtain.
• No disqualifying driving violations in the last 3 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving.
• Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders.
• Assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle.
• Assist with mobility device and securement as required for safety.
• Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop-off of the customer.
• Complete vehicle inspections as required.

MTM Transit , in partnership with Heartland Rides, is looking for a Full Time, Non - CDL Driver to join our team in Okeechobee , FL. We currently have training classes that start regularly!

This will be a “park-out” position. Three weeks of full-time paid training will take place at our main office in Sebring. After training, the employee will take a company vehicle home and would be stationed in the Okeechobee area.

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License or ability to obtain
• No driver’s license suspensions/revocations for moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than five traffic violation points in the past 12 months
• No serious traffic violations including reckless driving in the last 5 years
• No DUI/DWI convictions
• Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcoholscreening
• Mustpasscriminalbackgroundcheckinvestigation
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
• Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history

Skills:

• Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronicdevice
• Ability to maintain high level ofconfidentiality
• Ability to communicate with others and comprehendinstructions
• Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, andschedules
• Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOTregulations
• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the servicearea

• Provide safe and reliabletransportation

• Must assist with passenger loading and unloading fromvehicle

• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections asrequired
