Job summary

MTM Transit is hiring a Full Time, Non-CDL Driver for the Okeechobee, FL area. You will train at our Sebring office and then operate a company vehicle home, serving the Okeechobee region with safe, reliable transportation.

Requirements include a high school diploma/GED, 21+, a valid FL license, DOT pre-employment screening, and the ability to pass background checks. We offer paid training, overtime, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years of age or older.
• Florida driver's license or ability to obtain one.
• No major traffic violations in last 5 years.
• DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening pass required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for passengers.
• Demonstrate defensive driving and excellent customer service.
• Assist with passenger loading/unloading and mobility devices as needed.
• Maintain on-time pickups/drops and safety inspections.
• Comply with DOT, ADA and FTA regulations.

We currently have training classes that start regularly!This will be a \"park-out\" position. Three weeks of full-time paid training will take place at our main office in Sebring.
