Job summary

DO & CO AG in Romulus is seeking a dynamic Non-CDL Driver to join our hospitality-focused team. The role involves transporting meals and equipment between DO & CO facilities and the airport, loading and unloading aircraft, and ensuring flights are catered correctly.

You will serve airlines with safe, efficient handling and maintain vehicles per regulations. Ideal candidates have box truck experience, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and can pass a criminal background check while obtaining

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Transport of meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities and third-party vendors, and the airport.
• Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling.
• Ensure flights are always catered correctly.
• Cater to DO & CO’s client’s airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience driving box trucks is required.
• Requirements necessary to obtain airport ID.
• Must Pass a criminal background check.
• Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise. Many duties performed outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet.
• Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
• Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers.
