Job summary

DO & CO AG in Detroit is seeking a dynamic CDL Driver Class A/B to join our hospitality-focused team. Drive meals and equipment between DO & CO facilities, airlines, and airports, while maintaining rigorous safety and service standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, ensuring accurate catering on flights, and performing routine vehicle checks. Competitive hourly pay with full-time benefits and opportunities for growth within a leading luxury global gourmet entertainment company.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driving license type A or B.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Able to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Able to work at heights up to 20–25 feet.

Responsibilities

• Transport meals, meal carts, and equipment between DO & CO facilities, vendors, and airport.
• Load/unload aircraft in line with regulations and equipment handling.
• Ensure flights are catered correctly and on time.
• Cater to airline clients and handle equipment safely and promptly.
• Maintain vehicles (fueling and pre/post checks) and report deficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Transport of meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities and third-party vendors, and the airport.


• Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling.


• Ensure flights are always catered correctly.


• Cater to DO & CO's client's airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely.


• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately.


• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driving license type A or B


• Requirements necessary to obtain airport ID.


• Must Pass a criminal background check.


• Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise. Many duties performed outside in all weather conditions.


• Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds.


• Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet.


• Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.


• Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers.
