Overview
Job Summary: Transport elderly and disabled clients in a safe and timely manner from their homes to medical appointments in company-provided vehicles. Mobility includes ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher modes.
Responsibilities
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments using company-provided vehicles.
- Assist clients with mobility needs across ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher transport.
- Communicate with dispatch and document daily tasks on the provided tablet.
- Ensure vehicle sanitation and safety during and after trips.
- Maintain professional conduct and safety standards at all times.
- Follow schedule: typically 8 to 10-hour workdays, with routes starting between 4 AM and 7 AM; work every other Saturday and off most Sundays.
Qualifications
- A heart for the disabled and elderly people.
- Strong safety ethic and professional appearance.
- At least 23 years of age and a current valid GA driver's license.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 speeding tickets, no suspensions).
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Pass a drug test, a background check, and provide a 7-year Motor Vehicle Report from driver services.
