Job summary

QQR Transport is seeking an experienced Driver Manager in Cincinnati, OH to dispatch our fleet and manage driver relationships and load planning end-to-end. You will own the board, coordinate high-volume FTL dispatch activities, and collaborate with brokers to ensure on-time service and profitability.

The role requires strong trucking knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup-like environment as QQR scales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in dispatcher, driver manager, fleet manager, or load planner in FTL trucking.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Familiarity with DAT load boards and other TMS software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Confident handling high call volumes and emails.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch board management for 30–50 drivers per dispatcher.
• Plan, assign, and coordinate FTL loads across regional and OTR lanes.
• Negotiate freight rates and manage load profitability.
• Monitor driver hours of service and maintain on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain dispatch logs and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with HR on driver onboarding and retention.
