Job summary

QQR Logistics in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced Driver Manager to dispatch our fleet, manage driver relationships, and own end-to-end load planning for a high-volume board of 30–50 drivers. You will work to maximize on-time delivery, minimize idle time, and ensure profitability across regional and long-haul lanes.

The role requires deep knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with freight

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a dispatcher/driver manager in FTL trucking/logistics.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Familiarity with load boards (DAT, etc.) and TMS software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Confidence managing a high call volume and constant email flow.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and manage a high-volume FTL board (30–50 drivers).
• Plan and coordinate load movements across regional and OTR lanes.
• Monitor driver hours, HOS, and compliance with policies.
• Negotiate freight rates and manage load profitability.
• Build relationships with drivers and freight brokers.
• Collaborate with Operations, Safety, and Accounting to align cross-functional teams.
• Support HR/recruiting on driver hiring, onboarding, and retention.
