Job summary

Temco Logistics, a proud subsidiary of The Home Depot, is seeking a Driver Manager to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service in the final mile for home appliance installations.

You will monitor on-road operations, coach drivers, ensure DOT compliance, coordinate routing, and partner with the MDO team to optimize schedules and safety while upholding Temco’s brand standards in a white-glove delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with home appliance installation or mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of routing, scheduling, and DOT & safety compliance.
• Ability to lead by example and fill in during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-road operations and support drivers via calls and issue resolution.
• Prepare manifests, review routes for optimization and DOT compliance.
• Train and onboard new customer service staff.
• Build driver schedules and ensure hours adherence.
• Review payroll accuracy and coordinate route adjustments.
• Manage check-in compliance and daily exception processing (MARS, reschedules, cancellations).
• Support inbound/outbound processes in 3PL locations.
• Oversee DOT compliance and safety standards for drivers and equipment.
• Conduct on-road observations and Safe Work Habits assessments.
• Coach drivers for performance improvements.
