Heritage Communities in Bellevue, NE is hiring a Driver/Maintenance Assistant to improve resident living through hands-on repairs and proactive upkeep. You will handle fixture installation, general repairs, and maintain meticulous work orders, certifications, and scheduling to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

As a Driver/Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a hands‑on role in improving the lives of our residents by:

• Performing apartment reconditioning tasks, including fixture installation and general repairs.
• Maintaining all areas of the community to the highest standard, ensuring proper record‑keeping for work orders, certifications, and scheduling.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of experience in maintenance, minor repairs, painting, and grounds upkeep, with the ability to operate applicable tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (Chauffer’s license is required in the state of Iowa).
• Compassionate communication and teamwork skills.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
