Job summary

RelaDyne in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Home Daily CDL Driver (Class B) to deliver fuel and lubricant solutions to customers. You will unload and load at customer sites, follow DOT safety policies, and operate fuel pumping equipment with care.

Requirements include a valid Class B CDL, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, at least 1 year of liquid bulk tanker or bobtail experience, and a clean DOT medical card. We offer hourly pay with overtime, sign-on options, quarterly safety bonuses, home daily,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Valid Class B CDL required; Class A welcomed considered.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• At least 1 year of experience hauling liquid bulk in tanker or bobtail.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and extended shifts.
• Safe driving record and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Follow delivery instructions and comply with DOT, company, and customer safety policies.
• Load and unload products at customer locations professionally and safely.
• Connect/disconnect hoses and operate pumps/valves during loading/unloading.
• Use onboard technology (Smartlogix, Samsara) as instructed.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Adhere to accident and incident reporting procedures.

What You'll Do

• Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
• Properly load and unload products at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner
• Connect and disconnect hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely filling tanks using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings
• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable
• Comply with company accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

Work Environment

This position includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving, loading, and unloading products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Candidates should also be comfortable climbing steps to verify tank compartments and getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day.
