Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is hiring a Local Shuttle Lumber Truck Driver in Burney, California. This role offers hourly pay between $27.36 and $32.36 with a $1,500 hiring bonus and strong internal promotion opportunities.

We provide excellent health benefits, retirement contributions, paid vacation, and 10 holidays. Home daily with occasional overnight travel, must have Class A license and 1 year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A license, current medical card, clean DMV record and good work references.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive lumber trucks in accordance with traffic laws.
• Load and secure lumber loads and transport to destination.
• Tarping of loads as needed.
• Perform daily inspection of truck.
• Learn and operate onboard computerized time and load info tracking.
• Meet dispatch schedules on time.
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Driver home almost daily with occasional overnight travel.

Currently, we are seeking a qualified Local Shuttle Lumber Truck Driver for our trucking division in Burney, California. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial truck driver, or a training opportunity with the qualifications below.

About The Position

• Drive lumber trucks in accordance with traffic laws
• Load and secure lumber loads and transport to destination
• Tarping of loads as needed
• Perform daily inspection of truck

• Our Local Shuttle Lumber Truck drivers are home almost daily, with occasional overnight travel
