Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Oroville, California is seeking an experienced Log Truck Driver for our trucking division. You will drive log trucks, load and secure logs, perform daily vehicle inspections, and meet dispatch schedules.

We offer hourly wages from $28.90 to $33.90, a $1,500 hiring bonus, excellent health benefits, a 401(k) with company match, retirement contributions, paid vacation and 10 holidays, and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A license, current medical card, clean DMV record and good work references.
• 1-year log hauling driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive log trucks in accordance with traffic laws.
• Load and secure log loads and transport to destination.
• Perform daily inspection of truck.
• Learn and operate onboard computerized time and load info tracking.
• Meet dispatch schedules on time.
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
