Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Burney, California, is hiring a Local Shuttle Lumber Truck Driver for our trucking division. This full-time position offers competitive pay, opportunities for training and advancement, and a strong benefits package.

Earn $27.36 to $32.36 per hour with a $1,500 hiring bonus. You will drive lumber trucks, load and secure cargo, tarp as needed, perform daily inspections, and stay on schedule while safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A license, medical card, clean DMV, and good references.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive lumber trucks in accordance with traffic laws.
• Load and secure lumber loads and transport to destination.
• Tarping of loads as needed.
• Perform daily inspection of truck.
• Learn and operate onboard computerized time and load info tracking.
• Meet dispatch schedules on time.
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Our Local Shuttle Lumber Truck drivers are home almost daily, with occasional overnight travel.

Currently, we are seeking a qualified Local Shuttle Lumber Truck Driver for our trucking division in Burney, California. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial truck driver, or a training opportunity with the qualifications below.

About The Position
