Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a Lumber Truck Driver for its Red Bluff, California operations. This fourth-generation family-owned company is one of the largest lumber and millwork producers in the United States, employing thousands across sawmills and facilities.

The position offers an hourly wage of $27.36–$32.36 with a $1,500 hiring bonus for qualified candidates. You will drive lumber trucks, load and secure cargo, perform pre-trip inspections, and work to meet dispatch schedules while

Qualifications

• Must have Class A license, current medical card, clean DMV record, and good work references
• 1-year commercial driving experience

Responsibilities

• Drive lumber trucks in accordance with traffic laws
• Load and secure lumber loads and transport to destination
• Tarping of loads as needed
• Perform daily inspection of truck
• Learn and operate onboard computerized time and load info tracking
• Meet dispatch schedules on time
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner

Currently, we are seeking a qualified Lumber Truck Driver for our trucking division in Red Bluff, California. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial truck driver, or a training opportunity with the qualifications below.

About the Position

• Drive lumber trucks in accordance with traffic laws
• Load and secure lumber loads and transport to destination
• Tarping of loads as needed
