Job summary

The Department of Licensing (DOL) in Washington is seeking a Licensing Services Representative (LSR2) for the East Vancouver driver licensing office. This non-permanent, in-person role involves issuing driver licenses, enhanced licenses, and IDs, with extensive training provided to ensure accurate decisions and excellent public service.

You will review applications, collect fees, evaluate qualifications, and travel to other offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct customer service work experience.
• One year of experience using electronic systems and form templates.
• Typing speed 30 wpm or greater.

Responsibilities

• Verify authenticity of documents and issue licenses/IDs according to laws and procedures.
• Perform final review of enhanced driver license applications and portfolios.
• Collect licensing fees and process payments.
• Approve or deny enhanced applications and issue EDL/EID to eligible applicants.
• Assess customer qualifications (physical, medical, visual) for licensing issuance.
