The Ohio Department of Public Safety – Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Driver Exam Services District 3 North Canton, in Canton, OH, is seeking a Driver License Station Supervisor. The role supervises examiners and staff, and oversees daily facility operations and driver license testing.

Option 1
36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in laws & signs applicable for operation of motorized vehicles, to include commercial vehicles & Bureau of Motor Vehicles’ policies & procedures governing testing for & issuance of driver licenses & commercial vehicle licenses;
AND 1 yr. exp. in supervisory principles & techniques or providing work direction & training to other employees; valid Ohio Class ‘D’ Driver License.
Option 2
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Driver License Examiner 2 (Lead Worker), 24333;
AND valid Ohio Class ‘D’ Driver License.
Option 3
-Or 12 mos. exp. as CDL Field Representative 24332;
AND 12 mos. exp. in providing work direction & training to other employees; valid Ohio Class ‘D’ Driver License.
Option 4
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Driver Examination Field Representative 24334;
AND 12 mos. exp. in providing work direction & training to other employees;
AND valid Ohio Class ‘D’ Driver License.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
Job Skill: Customer Service
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT REQUIRED TO REMAIN IN THE CLASSIFICATION AFTER EMPLOYMENT Renewal of driver license as required by law. Successful completion of agency driving training course required before end of probationary period.
Position is identified as safety sensitive & is subject to random drug & alcohol testing in accordance with DPS 501.24.
