Qualifications

• Customer service skills in person and over the phone
• Cash handling and register reconciliation
• Data entry experience
• Experience handling private and confidential information
• Valid Utah Driver License with a good driving record

Responsibilities

• Collect and review client information and read records to determine eligibility
• Administer written and driving tests and document results
• Communicate test findings, evaluate results and make recommendations
• Issue licenses, permits, registrations, certificates, etc.
• Explain State Code, Policy and Procedure to applicants
• Determine when suspended licenses are eligible for reinstatement
• Assess whether further medical information is needed before issuing licenses
• Interact directly with the public in a respectful manner
