The Driver License Division is hiring a Driver License Examiner for Moab and Blanding offices in Utah. This full-time, in-office position offers a starting wage of $20.04 per hour and eligibility for a full benefits package.

The role involves collecting applicant information, administering tests, issuing licenses, and interpreting state policies. The ideal candidate has customer service skills, data entry ability, and a valid Utah driver license.

Formación

• Customer service skills, in person and over the phone.
• Cash handling and register reconciliation.
• Data entry skills and related work experience.
• Experience handling private and/or confidential information.
• A valid Utah Driver License and a good driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and review client information to determine eligibility.
• Administer written and driving tests and document results.
• Communicate test findings and make recommendations.
• Issue licenses, permits, registrations, certificates, etc.
• Interpret State Code, Policy and Procedure and explain them to applicants.
• Determine when suspended licenses are eligible and how to reinstate them.
• Assess whether further medical information is needed prior to issuing licenses.
• Interact with the public in a respectful manner.
