This position supports daily operations at a Driver License Center by helping customers, reviewing identity documents, and entering required information. As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will perform the following duties:

• Customer Assistance: Provide guidance to visitors, verify identification, and share needed forms and brochures
• Testing Support: Administer knowledge tests and conduct vision screenings using a telebinocular instrument
• Data Entry: Enter application details and test results into online driver licensing systems
• Information Guidance: Explain licensing requirements, REAL ID rules, and options for various license types
• Documentation Accuracy: Apply correct fee waiver codes, prepare requested restoration letters, and follow all service policies
• Workplace Standards: Maintain an orderly work area, follow Title VI requirements, and assist other centers when needed

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Work overtime and travel to other Driver License Centers when needed
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.

Other Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
