Job summary

Ironclad Environmental Solutions is seeking a local truck driver in Alabama to transport frac tanks, vacuum boxes, and tankers for local customers. This is a Monday–Friday position with a home daily schedule.

You will survey sites, set up equipment, inspect vehicles, and document deliveries. Requires valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, tanker endorsement, and a strong safety focus. Overnight travel may be needed occasionally.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement; hazmat preferred.
• 3+ years of CDL Class A driving experience; heavy haul experience preferred.
• Proficient in English, able to follow highway signs and complete reports.
• Adheres to safety protocols and demonstrates strong safety awareness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport frac tanks, vacuum boxes, and tankers to local customers.
• Survey customer property, set up and secure equipment on site.
• Routinely inspect vehicle to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep.
• Document work performed on deliveries and pick-ups.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport frac tanks, vacuum boxes, and tankers to/ from local customers


• Survey customer property, set up, & secure equipment on the property


• Routinely inspect vehicle to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep


• Properly document work performed on equipment deliveries and pick-ups


• May be asked to transport non-hazardous loads to/from landfills


• Occasional overnight travel may be needed

Equipment Used

• Truck: heavy duty, winch trucks


• Tractor trailers: Both hydraulic and gas powered


• Unit trailers


• Telephone, radio, handheld dispatch equipment & computer


• Load pulling/load securement chains, straps, winch

Qualifications

This is a safety-sensitive role that requires strict adherence to all company safety protocols and standards.

Prospective employees must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.


• At least 21 years of age.


• Valid Class A CDL issued by one state or jurisdiction.


• 3+ years of CDL Class A driving experience, or 2 years with a truck driving school certificate (experience within the last 7 years preferred).


• Experience with roll-off or winch trucks (heavy haul preferred).


• Valid Tanker Endorsement required.


• Hazmat Endorsement preferred.


• Towing experience preferred.


• 6 months roll-off truck experience within the last 24 months.


• TWIC card required.


• Valid medical certificate, physically qualified to drive a commercial vehicle.


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to shoulder level.


• Proficient in English for communication, following highway signs, and completing reports.


• CDL driving experience from military service accepted.
