Driver I - Gannett Publishing Services, Canton, OH

Pay: $16.00 per hour

The primary responsibilities of a Driver include operating regular and commercial vehicles for deliveries and pickups, maintaining delivery reports, handling inserts and newsprint, and operating forklifts and clamp trucks to support warehouse activities. The role also involves maintaining records, assisting in shipment processes, and supporting production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform deliveries and pickups to support newspaper and commercial printing.
2. Operate forklift and clamp truck safely and efficiently.
3. Clean and organize dock and storage areas.
4. Maintain accurate receiving records for inserts and newsprint.
5. Pre-stage inserts for upcoming production runs.
6. Assist supervisors with insert issues or training.
7. Ensure customer satisfaction, aligning performance with customer service goals.
8. Participate actively in teamwork and special projects.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
