Med Resources is seeking a reliable Driver/HME technician to deliver and set up durable medical equipment to patients in the Midwest and Georgia. The role involves driving company vans, demonstrating equipment, and providing excellent patient service while maintaining logs and coordinating with dispatch and caregivers.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a 50 lb lift test.

Responsabilités

Med Resources, the premier provider of Respiratory and Home Medical Equipment in the Midwest and Georgia is seeking a reliable and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Driver/HME technician.

Job Description

• Deliver and set up durable medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, hospital beds, and other assistive devices to patients using company vans
• Assist with setting up and demonstrating equipment use, ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance with company policies
• Assist the warehouse team when not performing duties outlined above. Includes unloading and restocking assigned van, cleaning and checking equipment, and general warehouse duties as needed
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, service records, and patient documentation
• Communicate with dispatch, patients and caregivers regarding delivery schedules and special needs
• Perform routine vehicle checks, report any maintenance issues and keep assigned van neat and organized
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
