JOB SUMMARY

Assist delivery drivers with unloading, quality checking, and delivering products to customer locations.

This position transitions into a Driver Trainee position and then to a Driver role.

Overnight position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unload products and check quality at customer locations, including produce rotation and quality checks.
• Assist drivers with driving to various locations for deliveries.
• Report any incomplete deliveries (shorts).
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Properly handle company equipment, follow safety rules, and perform pre-trip inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Prefer High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience: Experience with handcarts and electric pallet jacks.

Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, perform basic arithmetic, understand delivery schedules, and assess product quality and rotation.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds; infrequent lifting up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to climb on and off trucks.
• Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling.

Work Environment:

• Cold warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and extreme weather conditions.
