Job description

Freebird Stores is on the hunt for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our in-house team. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a love for clean, elevated design, and a strong visual grasp of the Freebird aesthetic—we’d love to meet you.

We’re looking for someone who can bring bold ideas to life through thoughtful, eye-catching design. You’ll work under our Senior Graphic Designer and collaborate across teams—from merchandising to social—to help shape how our brand shows up across digital platforms.

In this role, no two days look the same. One moment you’ll be creating assets for a new campaign, the next you might be crafting eye-catching visuals for email marketing or designing graphics that stop the scroll on social. You’re someone who enjoys both the big-picture creative direction and the details that make the work feel polished and impactful.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing visual graphics for digital assets including emails, digital ads, website graphics, and social posts. Occasionally designing for print materials.
  • Creating static and animated content for emails and digital ads using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Creating and loading email marketing campaigns using Listrak and Klaviyo.
  • Collaborates and communicates effectively to develop concepts and understand project needs.
  • Participates in creative brainstorming sessions, offering ideas, feedback, and insight.
  • Pushes creative boundaries while maintaining brand guidelines.
  • Fast-Paced Execution
  • Work quickly and efficiently to produce digital assets in sync with our rapid launches and promotions.
  • Make quick revisions based on feedback while maintain product integrity
  • Daily tracking and analyzing email marketing analytics, reviewing top-performing styles, and monitoring inventory level.
  • Prepare and optimize designs for print and web, ensuring proper file formats, resolutions, imagery.
  • Ensure that all design and photography adhere to the brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all modalities - email, web, social, print.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a design or similar creative role.
  • Proficiency in design and animation software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects). Knowledge of Figma preferred.
  • Experience and passion for animation and After Effects strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Balance between creative vision and practical business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This is a temporary, part-time, in-office role based at our headquarters in Denver, Colorado, with the potential to transition into a full-time position after 90 days. Candidates must have availability to work in-office at our Headquarters. Part-time hours must fall Monday through Friday, from 9AM to 5PM MST.
