Coors Distributing Company (CDC) is one of the nation’s leading beer distributors based out of Denver, CO. We are the critical link between our brewery suppliers that produce the beer and the retail outlets where they are sold, as well as the restaurants and bars where they are consumed. We were founded in 1971 and became a MillerCoors LLC in 2008 as part of the joint venture between Miller Brewing Company and Coors Brewing Company, and we remain the only company owned distributor for Molson Coors Beverage Company. Major brand acquisitions occurred in January of 2010 making Coors Distributing Company one of the top 25 largest beer distributors in the country with over 30 suppliers, roughly 14 million cases per year, and nearly 400 employees.

The Headlines: In the role of Summer Delivery Helper working in Denver, CO you will be part of the Delivery Team You will be responsible in assisting Delivery Drivers to safely and efficiently deliver the company’s products (cases kegs) to On-Premise and Off-Premise retail accounts from a commercial truck.

This position reports to the Delivery Supervisor and works closely with our Warehouse and Sales teams.

Wage: $20.50/hour with overtime eligibility

Major Functions:

• Driver Assistance
  • Help drivers complete the assigned route in a safe, accurate and efficient manner in varying weather conditions and challenging environments (i.e., stairs, curbs, docks, tight parking lots)
  • Execute quality of service in accounts including: rotation, stocking shelves, building displays, and organizing products
• Safety & Compliance
  • Must comply with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) rules and regulations in addition to the Coors Distributing Company Policies and Procedures
    • Cart loads: manually loading carts off of the system
    • Kegs: picking and loading kegs for delivery to the loading bays
    • Other Duties as Assigned

Working conditions

· This position is subject to varying start times and all work must be completed daily

· Requires face to face contact with customers in the market

Physical requirements

· Must be physically capable of handling and delivering between 500 and 1,000 30 lb. cases every day and lifting up 165 lbs. consistently on a daily basis

· This position will be subject to assisting a driver who might be on light duty, thus resulting in the physical labor being performed solely by the Driver Helper

The Other Qualifications:

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required

· As part of the recruitment process, the candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check

· Must be able to write, read, and speak the English language

· You MUST be flexible with shift and hours that can be subject to change based on company demands, especially during summer months
