Job summary

Maersk Ladson, SC is seeking a Driver Helper to support the driver with loading/unloading, routing, and delivery tasks. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, basic map reading, and strong customer service skills.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with full benefits and opportunities for career advancement. Essential duties include loading the daily route, scanning routes, assisting with navigation, and helping carry freight to destinations.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Able to read a map and have general geographic knowledge of the area.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted.
• Must possess good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load the daily route onto the truck.
• Scan the daily route onto the truck.
• Assist the driver with navigating to deliveries.
• Assist the driver with carrying freight to a business or residence destination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
