Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Driver Helper to support the driver in loading/unloading freight and navigating to deliveries. The role requires ability to lift heavy loads, operate basic warehouse equipment, and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include loading the daily route, scanning routes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining safety per TSA/OSHA guidelines. Strong teamwork and customer service are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Ability to load/unload freight and assist driver.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Read and comprehend work instructions.
• Team player with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load daily route onto the truck.
• Scan daily route onto the truck.
• Assist driver with navigation to deliveries.
• Assist with carrying freight to destinations.
• Use manifest to pull route and stage freight.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift, pallet jacks).
• Read and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify and annotate OS&D.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
