Job summary

Maersk is hiring a driver’s helper to support daily route loading, unloading, and freight handling in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will assist the driver with deliveries, navigate routes, and help load and secure cargo while following safety protocols.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, good customer service, and the ability to work overtime. English reading/writing is essential, with occasional cross-docking and warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area.
• Must possess good customer service skills.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the truck accurately for the daily route.
• Scan and route daily tasks onto the truck.
• Assist drivers with deliveries and freight handling.
• Operate forklift/pallet jacks as required.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with TSA/OSHA guidelines.
