Charlie's Produce in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a driver helper to assist company drivers with all deliveries and to help unload freight at customer locations. This role requires lifting up to 75 lbs and working in a refrigerated warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Shred cardboard materials for use as packaging.

• Sweep and maintain clutter-free warehouse.
• Assist drivers with unloading freight at customer sites.
• Learn new tasks and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned and support food safety practices.

Job Description

The Role

We are looking to hire a highly efficient driver helper to assist company drivers with all deliveries.

Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To

• Shred cardboard materials for use as packaging
• Stacking and storing pallets
• Lifting repetitively up to 50lbs
• Keeps company grounds free of litter and debris
• Sweep and maintain warehouse clutter free
• Accompanies drivers to help unload freight at customer locations
• Open to learning new things
• Complies with Company safety procedures in the workplace
• other duties as assigned
• All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor, or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or quality.

Qualifications

• Riding pallet Jack experience preferred, not required
