Job summary

Charlie’s Produce is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver produce to customers across the Greater Los Angeles area, averaging 10–15 stops per route. Shifts are early morning and may include weekends or holidays, with start times around 1:30am–3:30am.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A license, a medical card, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Prior delivery experience—especially in food/beverage—is preferred, along with strong English reading skills.

Qualifications

• Be 23 yrs. or older due to insurance requirements.
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card Interstate qualification, registered.
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift.
• Read and understand English per DOT rules.
• Delivery driver experience in food/beverage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver produce safely to customers in Greater Los Angeles area.
• Average 10–15 stops per route.

• Check invoices during deliveries and collect COD payments if needed.
• Provide superior customer service at each delivery.

Additional Compensation Details

• $28.00/hr - $30.00/hr, depending on experience.
• Potential 90-day performance-based raise.
• Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.

The Role

The Delivery Driver will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, average 10-15 stops per route.

Shift is Day/ early morning hours, must be able to work weekends and or holidays as needed. Start times: Varied average 1:30am - 3:30am.

Essential Responsibilities Include, And Are Not Limited To

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries.
• Palletized product will be delivered to customers with hand truck.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery.
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers.
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues.
• All other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card Interstate qualification, registered.
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift.
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English.
• Previous Delivery Driver Experience - food and beverage experience preferred!
