Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver who safely delivers propane to customers, loads/unloads propane, and delivers exceptional customer service. The role emphasizes safety, vehicle inspections, and maintenance to meet the highest safety standards.

You will transfer and deliver propane using tanks, bulk trucks, and cylinders, while maintaining records and coordinating with the Dispatcher for routing. Overtime may be required and duties may evolve with business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• CDL Class A or B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement required
• Current DOT medical certification
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane to customers for bulk, tanks or cylinders
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and safety standards
• Use available technology to record deliveries and print tickets
• Document pre/post vehicle inspections and site inspections as applicable
• Coordinate routing with Dispatcher and report issues promptly
• Work overtime when required
• Other duties as assigned

Job description

The Propane Bobtail Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.
