Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver to safely and promptly deliver propane to customers in the NH region. You will load, unload, and handle propane with a focus on exceptional service and safety.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, using technology to track inventory and print tickets, and working with the Dispatcher on routing. CDL class A/B and DOT medical certification are required; overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferred.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; visa sponsorship not offered.

• Leverage technology to track inventory, print delivery tickets, and submit driver reports.
• Conduct pre- and post- vehicle inspections and site/tank inspections.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher for routing and scheduling; report issues promptly.
• Overtime may be required.

Job description

The Propane Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Propane Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.
