WHC Worldwide is seeking a Driver Relationship Manager to advocate for our drivers, focusing on relationships, onboarding, engagement, and retention. You will partner with operations leadership to nurture a positive driver experience and drive long-term workforce stability.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration with dispatch, training, and leadership teams to support drivers throughout their careers.

Qualifications

• Experience in employee relations, transportation, driver management, customer service, recruiting, human resources, operations, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted resource for drivers throughout their journey with the company.
• Build strong, positive relationships with both new and experienced drivers.
• Conduct regular check-ins to assess driver satisfaction, address concerns, and provide support.
• Partner with drivers to identify opportunities for professional growth and long-term success.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and driver-focused culture.
• Facilitate open communication between drivers, management, and operational teams.
• Guide new drivers through onboarding and ensure a welcoming experience.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, documentation, orientation scheduling, and driver introductions.
• Maintain communication with newly onboarded drivers to provide support and encouragement.
• Help create a seamless and engaging onboarding experience.
• Lead driver retention efforts focused on strengthening engagement and reducing turnover.
• Gather feedback from drivers and recommend improvements to programs, policies, and processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement initiatives that enhance driver satisfaction and loyalty.
• Respond promptly and professionally to driver questions and concerns.
• Work collaboratively with dispatch, operations, recruiting, and leadership teams to resolve issues.
