Qualifications

• Previous transportation management experience mandatory
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Experience prioritizing projects
• Previous experience in a union environment is 'Preferred'
• Possess customer service related experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong MS Office experience

Responsibilities

• Will manage a staff of DOT CDL A union drivers to ensure high delivery of customer service and fleet profitability
• Track and administer transportation department payroll; hourly, component, and bonuses
• Prepare referral and sign on bonus reports for drivers
• Assist with driver scheduling routes and bid process
• Responsible for handling various invoices for processing
• Ability to provide back-up, support, and training with other transportation support team members
• Responsible for daily planning and scheduling of equipment and drivers while ensuring high utilization
• Act as a liaison between the customer, drivers and internal departments
• Ensure safety procedures are followed
• Provide support for management personnel
